Effective November 1, 2024
PAYMENT OBLIGATION
I understand that when I register for any course at Warrior Week and/or Syndicate Institute, I accept full responsibility to pay all tuition, fees and other associated costs assessed as a result of my registration, including charges related to events, meals, travel, and/or receipt of services. I further understand and agree that my registration and acceptance of these terms constitutes a promissory note agreement in which Warrior Week and/or Syndicate Institute is providing me educational services and deferring some or all my payment obligation for those services. I promise to pay for all assessed tuition, fees and other associated costs by the applicable due date.
I understand and agree that if I drop or withdraw from some or all the courses for which I register, I will be responsible for paying all or a portion of tuition and fees in accordance with the published tuition refund schedule for my program. I further understand and agree that my failure to attend sessions or receive a bill does not absolve me of my financial responsibility as described in this Agreement.
I understand that administrative or technical billing errors, while rare, do not absolve me of my financial responsibility to pay the correct amount of tuition, fees and other associated costs assessed because of my enrollment at Warrior Week and/or Syndicate Institute.
METHOD OF BILLING
I understand that Warrior Week and/or Syndicate Institute uses electronic billing (e-bill) as its official billing method and will not send a paper bill to me or to anyone else who may make payments on my behalf. E-bill information is available at Student Accounts | Student Accounts (syndicatecouncil.com/institute). I am responsible for viewing and paying my student account bill by the scheduled due date. I further understand that failure to review my student account bill does not absolve me of my financial responsibility as described in this Agreement. I understand the monthly program fees are set to auto-renew unless the Warrior Week and/or Syndicate Institute receives written notification of cancellation at least thirty (30) days prior to the program start date. This ensures uninterrupted access to the services and benefits included in the program. If you do not wish to continue, please provide your cancellation request in writing within the specified timeframe. Otherwise, the auto-renewal will process as scheduled.
DELINQUENT ACCOUNT
Financial Hold: I understand and agree that if I fail to pay my student account bill or any monies due and owing to the Institute by the due date, the Institute will place a financial hold on my student account, which may prevent me from registering for future courses or receiving my diploma. This hold will remain on my account until the balance is paid in full. I further understand that the Institute reserves the right to withdraw me if I fail to fulfill my financial responsibility. Once withdrawn, I understand that I will not be allowed to return to training for future terms until my financial obligation has been fully satisfied.
Late Payment: I understand and agree that if I fail to pay my student account bill or any monies due and owing to the Institute by the due date, the Institute will assess late payment fees in accordance with the policy set forth on the Warrior Week and/or Syndicate Institute website at the relevant time. This information can be found at Tuition Due Dates | Student Accounts (syndicatecouncil.com/institute). Late fees may be applied to past due amounts from prior terms even if the balance for the current term is paid in full.
RETURNED PAYMENTS
If my payment is returned by the bank for any reason, I will be assessed the amount of the original payment plus a returned payment fee. The returned payment fee is published on the Warrior Week and/or Syndicate Institute website.
COLLECTION AGENCY FEES
I understand and accept that if I fail to pay my student account bill or any monies due and owing to Warrior Week and/or Syndicate Institute by the due date and fail to make acceptable payment arrangements to bring my account current, the Institute may refer my delinquent account to a third-party collection agency. I further understand that if the Institute refers my student account balance to a third party for collection, a collection fee will be assessed and will be due in full at the time of the referral to the third party.
FINANCIAL AID
I understand that aid described as “Incentive” on my financial aid award does not represent actual or guaranteed payment but is an estimate of the aid I may receive if I meet all requirements of the relevant aid program. If my eligibility for financial aid changes for any reason, I understand that I will be responsible for any charges on my account that were previously covered by financial aid.
WITHDRAWAL AND REFUNDS
I understand that if I decide to completely withdraw or drop below full-time status from the Institute, I must follow the applicable withdrawal policies and notify the appropriate financial aid office. I understand that I may have to return up to 100% of the financial aid funds which I have been awarded, become ineligible for future financial aid, be required to complete exit counseling and/or be required to commence loan repayment immediately.
After enrolling in a program, you may request a withdrawal by providing written notice to the Financial Aid Office within thirty (30) days without a refund. In the event of your election to drop a program prior to thirty (30) days of the term start, Warrior Week and/or Syndicate Institute will return funds bank transfer (e.g., wire or ACH) or paper check.
COMMUNICATION
I understand and agree that Warrior Week and/or Syndicate Institute uses my personal or business email as an official method of communication with me, and I am responsible for reading the emails I receive from the Institute on a timely basis.
I authorize Warrior Week and/or Syndicate Institute and its agents and contractors to contact me at my current and any future addresses, cellular phone number(s), email address(es) or wireless device(s) regarding my delinquent student account(s)/loan(s) or any other debt I owe to the Institute. I authorize Warrior Week and/or Syndicate Institute and its agents and contractors to use automated telephone dialing equipment, artificial or pre-recorded voice or text messages, and personal calls and emails, in their efforts to contact me. Furthermore, I understand that I may withdraw my consent to call my cellular telephone using automated telephone dialing equipment by submitting my request in writing to Warrior Week and/or Syndicate Institute Legal or by writing to the applicable contractor or agent contacting me on behalf of the Institute.
CONTACT INFORMATION
I understand and agree that I am responsible for keeping Warrior Week and/or Syndicate Institute records up to date with my current physical addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers. Upon leaving Warrior Week and/or Syndicate Institute for any reason, it is my responsibility to provide the Institute with updated contact information for purposes of continued communication regarding any amounts that remain due and owing to Warrior Week and/or Warrior Week and/or Syndicate Institute.
IRS FORM 1098-T
I agree to provide my Social Security number (SSN) or taxpayer identification number (TIN) to Warrior Week and/or Syndicate Institute upon request as required by Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations for Form 1098-T reporting purposes. If I fail to provide my SSN or TIN to the Institute, I agree to pay any and all IRS fines assessed as a result of my missing SSN/TIN.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
I understand and agree that this Agreement shall apply to tuition, fees and other costs assessed by the Institute before or after my submission of this Agreement in connection with each semester and/or term during which I am enrolled at the Institute. This Agreement supersedes all prior understandings, representations, negotiations and correspondence between me and Warrior Week and/or Syndicate Institute, constitutes the entire agreement between me and Warrior Week and/or Syndicate Institute with respect to the matters described. This Agreement may be modified by Warrior Week and/or Syndicate Institute if the modification is signed by me. Any modification will be specifically limited to those policies and/or terms addressed in the modification.
